I don't even know what to say. Niko said I should do this blog. I initially rejected it. But here I am doing it because I just wanna do a blog. I could be doing the blogs I actually wanna do but God dammit-
Before I Start…
Both of these guys thankfully have incredibly simple media lists. Max will be using all of the shorts uploaded to Max Design Pro. And Junior will be using all of the videos uploaded throughout SML's history. As many of the plush videos have been remade or reuploaded.
Also I guess content warning. SML is an incredibly raunchy comedy with tons of jokes containing stereotypes of races, sexualities, and disabilities. As well as just other general dark comedy. None of this will be referenced in this blog. But if you're not comfortable with that. Read with caution. I also most likely missed some things with Junior, but there are like hundreds of videos with him in them I can't sit through them all without losing my sanity
Also shoutout to Niko for doing MDP calcs and research and this Nugget blog I came across. As well as SoupyWolf5 for doing quite a bit of SML scaling on Character Stats and Profiles Wiki. Which indirectly helped a ton.

In a house somewhere on Earth. Two lovers, Martha and Jeff. Gave birth to three kids; Jimmy, Hope, and Max. Max lives a perfectly normal life with his family, going on adventures and playing video games alongside his friend Nugget. Him and Nugget often find themselves in your normal daily antics, working various jobs and helping each other with problems that come their way.
Junior
“So guys, what do you wanna do today?”
Born to Braxton and an unknown mother, Junior was your average child. Doing child things. Playing with toys and the like. But when he went to summer school, he managed to make two friends; Joseph and Cody. The three, despite their differences, managed to form a strong bond. And went on many absurd adventures and just. Being friends.

Over the course of the shorts. Max has taken up quite a few jobs. Such as a doctor, fire fighter, and police officer. He's also shown to practice archery. And is presumably a black belt in karate. As Evil Max, he's quite cunning and able to torture that stupid fucking chicken nugget
Junior
Junior, despite mostly being portrayed as a naive child. Has shown a solid showing of intelligence. Being able to hold his own against two trained cops, Brooklyn Guy and Simmons, in a Home Alone scenario. Making traps on the fly to keep them on edge. Junior has also graduated from military school, and became a black belt in karate within a short training montage. Able to catch a fly with a pair of chopsticks.

It’s a lightsaber. I don’t know why they sell lightsabers in the SML universe. But it decapitated Cody and cut off Chef Pee Pee’s arm.

This gross fucking burger grants wishes so long as you take a bite of it. Wishes can do a ton of things in the SML universe, so refer to this blog post to learn about their full capabilities.
The Magical Button
Found in his attic, it’s a big red button. When you press it. You get a wish. Much like the burger. However, everytime you push the button. A random person dies. It’s not specified how. But you just die. But it can kill ANYONE on Earth. Even Logan while he’s editing the video.
The Past Machine
A Bop-It reworked into a machine that can bring back things from the past. From Abe Lincoln to a t-rex to the dinosaur killing meteor to the big bang.
Polaroid Camera
A camera that Junior found in the attic. When he takes a picture of someone, they become trapped inside the picture. It can be undone by washing the photo in a washing machine.
Lucky Penny
In class one day, Junior found a penny on heads. Which granted him absurd luck feats. Including acing a test he didn’t prepare for, bowling a strike while blindfolded, almost getting hit by lightning, only getting broken legs after being run over. And most absurdly, it made Junior wake up late and miss his flight to Disney World. But he was lucky because the plane to Disney World crashed, and the park ended up getting nuked.

Regeneration
After an unknown timespan. Max is capable of coming back from being turned to ash. Whether the cause be his cat or Freddy Fazbear.
Junior
Regeneration/Immortality
Junior, due to being not real (yes this is his actual reason) he’s capable of coming back from things like being blown to pieces and exploding into slime. Puppets are also heavily implied to be able to come back from death. With statements from Cody and Brooklyn Guy regarding the irrelevance of death in their world. This in mind, Junior should be capable of coming back from greater fates. Such as exploding into water and burning up in the Sun. Oh yeah also God just brought Junior back after he wished he was never born.
Energy Projection
In Jeffy Ball Z, (yeah) Junior takes the role of Vegeta, and has the ability to shoot energy beams from his hands
Shapeshifting
By simply believing he could, Junior turned into a rocket and flew to Jupiter.
Corn Dog Curse
After throwing a plate of corn dog, Junior got the Corn Dog Curse. Everything he touches turns into a corn dog, from people to liquids to the planet

In one of his earliest appearances, Junior could breathe fire.
Superpowers
Within the trinity of videos called “Superpowers”, Junior and his friends all gain, well. Superpowers. However due to them losing them by the end of every video. It’s debatable on if Junior would have access to them in a fight.
Electricity Manipulation: In Superpowers, Junior was able to shoot lightning from his hands
Fragrance Manipulation: In Superpowers, Junior had the ability to fart really hard… yeah.
Telepathy: In Superpowers 2, Junior was capable of passively reading minds
Transmutation: Also in Superpowers 2, Junior could shoot lasers from his eyes that turn people into popcorn

SML has a wide variety of characters. All of which Junior can either harm, take hits from, or scale to via general scaling chains. As a result, Junior should scale to the following:
Black Yoshi, Shrek, and Jeffy are all capable of shaking Earth (1.84 - 24.52 Ronnatons of TNT)
Woody survives an explosion that killed a planet-sized shrimp (60.34 Ninatons of TNT)
Jeffy was capable of knocking out God, who presumably created the SML universe/multiverse (Universal+ - Multiversal+)
God also presumably gave God Jr. his own universe (Universal+)
Cody runs to Junior’s house in less than a second (Mach 1,266.83)

Weaknesses
Max
Max’s impressive array of jobs unfortunately doesn't help him too much in a fight. Hell, he rarely if ever properly fights. Max is also shown to give up on things relatively quickly, and is heavily reliant on the viewer's help. As Evil Max, due to his sadistic nature. He's more keen on slowly torturing his victims rather than killing them.
Junior
Remember how I said Junior is a naive child? That was an understatement. Junior is mostly shown to be egotistical, petty, and will go to absurd lengths just to prove an incredibly stupid point. Like when he went to the Sun to prove its status as a planet. Along with this. A good chunk of his arsenal is never used in a combat scenario and/or he loses after the video.
Before The Verdict
Are human and turtle Junior the same?
The question no one has ever wondered. But for the sake of answering it. I’ll roughly put together some form of continuity. Most notable thing pointing to human and turtle Junior being the same is Junior noting how "they can't use the plushes anymore" and mentioning that "he's not a turtle anymore". And as supporting evidence, The Human Potion just blatantly turns him into a human. So yeah very minor section over.
Bowser Juice Feats
Bowser- no. Braxton. Owns a drink brand fittingly titled “Braxton Juice” which is made out of his own piss. With consumers presumably able to “beat the Sun” and such up the entire universe as a black hole, Braxton should scale due to the contents of the juice being… produced by him.
Thankfully for everyone. It's very likely that these are just marketing tactics. Braxton as of this point in the channel was pretty consistent with hyperboles. Such as when he threatened to have Chef Pee Pee cook his food until Junior turns 120 million years old. On top of this. Junior would likely just downscale. As he is still portrayed as weaker than Braxton.
With all this. Both Bowser Juice feats will not be taken into account
Verdict
Stats
Starting with strength, both show surprisingly powerful feats. At a lowball Junior is hitting 15 Kilotons of TNT through surviving Hunky Boy. And Max can tank a boxing game hitting him at relativistic speeds, resulting in 78 Megatons of TNT. Both sides also have cosmic high ends. With Junior being comparable to numerous planet shaking feats, as well as Shrek blowing up Earth with a fart. Coming out to 6.61 Tenatons of TNT. Max, however, still has him beat. With two feats of splitting Earth in half, yielding a kinetic energy of 17 Quettatons of TNT. So with finite ends, Max should be more than capable of dealing serious damage to Junior.
Though, the tides change with Junior’s highest ends. Through scaling to Jeffy, Junior can reach Universal+, or scale to the creation of an infinite multiverse. However, this does come with a catch, assuming that God created the multiverse all at once. Or even if he did it. As The Past Machine shows that the universe started with the big bang. Though, God was still able to gift his son his own universe. That or God Jr. created it himself, still letting Junior scale. Since God should of course be stronger than his son. With these ends, Junior would be in a ballpark unheard of for Max and his series.
As for speed. It’s far more simple. Junior has several feats that far surpass the speed of sound. From dodging lightning to dodging meteors. His best lower end feat comes from Cody, which reaches Mach 1,266. But like strength, Max still holds his own incredibly well. Having fairly consistent relativistic feats, one being a good bit faster than light, at least being 23% the speed of light. At their best, though. Junior comes out on top. Scaling to feats thousands of times the speed of light as opposed to Max’s decimals above the speed of light.
All in all, while Max takes the trinity with lower ends, Junior far surpasses him with higher ones.
Abilities and Arsenal
As usual for goofy internet characters. These two have a wide array of items to use at their disposal. Starting with more basic items. Junior’s rifle and arsenal of Nerf guns would outdo Max’s bow and darts thanks to their far quicker firespeeds and preparation. Closer up, Max has the better options with a chainsaw and drill compared to Junior’s hammer. While he has a lightsaber that could cut off limbs, he’s not exactly skilled with it. Mostly just swinging it around.
Unfortunately for Max, when it comes to more weird equipment. He’s beaten pretty handily. Junior’s time stopping remote, sealing camera, and several methods of granting wishes would prove hard for the monkey. And the lucky penny would add insult to injury, as it’d minimize any injuries Max would throw at Junior. And the nuclear football… well. It sure nukes things.
Thankfully, Max isn’t that helpless. His Emoji Gun and love spray could potentially incapacitate Junior. As he’s shown to resistances to empathetic manipulation. And his wider array of vehicles could help with mobility. Junior’s never shown to be able to fly his helicopter, and his go-kart and big rig wouldn’t fare too well against faster cars like Max’s police car. Junior could counter Max’s rocket ship by turning himself into one. But it’s unlikely that Junior would consider this, as he only thought of the idea from a fortune cookie.
On the topic of transforming. How do these two match in abilities?... not too well. Max has shown some incredibly potent regeneration, returning from being torn and burnt to ashes. But Junior has also come back from similar situations. And on top of that, it’s a consistent statement that characters in SML cannot die no matter what they’re put through. Using this, Max can’t really kill Junior for good. He may be able to for long enough to be considered a win. But Junior will just come back at some point.
Junior’s abilities are also far more versatile, energy projection, fire breath, laser eyes that transmutate, electricity. He has everything he may need and then some. Most deadly of all being the Corn Dog Curse, with it. Junior would only need to touch Max once and the fight would just be over, Max has never been hit with an ability like this. And he sure as hell hasn’t shown to come back from it.
But let’s discuss what everyone wants to discuss. Evil Max and the viewers, while Evil Max is an incredibly scary foe. And could make Junior faint through eye contact, or grow to the size of a building for a height advantage. Evil Max still has no way of bypassing Junior’s immortality. Nor can he deal with Junior’s other abilities. So sadly, Twiddlefinger has very minor relevance in this debate except for a single, yet very possible win condition. The viewers are a far more interesting case. They seemingly are able to give Max pretty much anything he’d need for a given situation. But there’s nothing really saying the viewers could just give Max a win button of sorts, or some resistance to Junior’s abilities.
The final nail in the coffin is that Junior isn’t fighting alone. Pikachu and Ivysaur, while both basic. Can prove solid assets. With Pikachu’s thundershock being able to confuse Max, and Solar Beam, while not shown due to its insane charge time. Could prove devastating if it charges for so long. Junior can also increase his numbers by bringing in something from the past with the Past Machine. Like a t-rex or Abe Lincoln.
Overall, while Max has a couple ways of taking out Junior, Junior has as much, if not more ways of dealing with Max.
Other Factors
The final category is simple. Junior, while he can show some intelligence, is more often than not an incompetent and egotistical child, in contrast, Max is generally more level headed. And his wide resume of jobs shows he’s likely a good bit smarter.
In skill, both are black belts in karate. But Junior edges out thanks to his more consistent run-ins with the supernatural, physical fights with his friends, and usage of weapons.

In conclusion, this matchup has a bit more factors than one would initially think. But with his better stats, abilities, and skill. Junior is more than capable of making Max cease and desist. Or something idk man look i had no ideas-

Self depreciation jokes aside, this blog was kind of a joy to work on. SML is a channel I watched a ton of when I was younger, and seeing all the dumb shit it had was fun. Max Design Pro is also a good time when your minds off. So thats neat.
